Alki Tavern to ride off into history

The legendary Alki Tavern will close on St. Patrick's Day after 37 years in business. The property on which it sits along the West Seattle waterfront has been sold to Korean investors, and the tavern will be torn down. A giant U.S. flag hangs from the ceiling.
