The dialysis dilemma: urgent need vs. overtaxed system

At Northwest Kidney Center's new museum, a video discussing the early days of kidney dialysis loops and shows, in silhouette, what was called "The God Committee" or the "Life or Death Committee." It decided who would be given access to treatment. Those who were turned down would die.
