London’s Tube, the world’s first subway, turning 150

A passenger waits for a train at Baker Street Underground Station in London. The station and the London Underground opened 150 years ago. The silhouettes celebrate Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictitious detective who resided in the novels at 221B Baker Street.
