Durning, king of character actors, dies in NYC

Veteran character actor Charles Durning received the Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award in 2007. He appeared in movies and TV shows, including "The Sting", "Tootsie" and "Homicide: Life on the Streets". Durning died on Christmas Eve at the age of 89, in New York.
