Reader Photos of the Year 2012

This image of coho salmon that returned to spawn in Clark Creek, in Marblemount, Skagit County, is the grand-prize winner among The Seattle Times Reader Photos of the Year. The photo was taken with a Canon 5D Mark III using a 17mm lens at f/8, 1/320 of a second, at ISO 6400, in an Aquatica underwater housing.
