With a view from beyond the moon, an astronaut talks religion, politics and possibilities

Anders still flies about 100 hurs a year, many of those in his favorite warbird ride - a P-51 Mustang named "Val-Halla" in honor of wife Valerie. All of the vintage planes at the Heritage Flight Museum, run by Anders and his son, Greg, are kept in flying condition and sometimes appear at local air shows.
