A photo on the wall of Anders' home shows the lunar crater that now bears his name, courtesy of a commission that named one in honor of each Apollo 8 astronaut. Ironically, Anders' crater lies in one section of the moon that remained in shadow during the spacecraft's 10 orbits, so he has never seen it in person.
