At the Heritage Flight Museum in Bellingham with his "Earthrise" photo, former astronaut Bill Anders says of the moon, 249,000 miles away, "It's a long ways off." Anders and his crew were the first humans to travel to another planet, an experience he says exploded his views on humanity and traditional religion. "We think we're special," he says. "We're not."
