Snowy owls visit again, turn heads wherever they're spotted

A snowy owl is seen near Stanwood. While present in smaller numbers, the owls have also been seen in Seattle, Ocean Shores and other open, coastal locations and are expected to remain through February. Below left: The wing span of the snowy owl can be as much as 52 inches.
