This program is from the 1964 Thanksgiving Day game. An undefeated Roosevelt team, which had never trailed all season and outscored its opponents 250-21, trailed Garfield twice in the game before winning 14-13. Garfield's do-it-all quarterback, John Richardson, passed for one touchdown, caught a pass for the other touchdown and kicked an extra point. But Roosevelt's Bob Bean returned a kickoff 80 yards for what turned out to be the winning score.
