Apple Cup, apple pie, après ski: Driving the passes? Be ready for snow

Skiers and snowboarders line up just before noon Tuesday for the first ski lift to open at Stevens Pass, the first ski area to open in the state. More snow is expected in the mountains, making driving a challenge.
