Israel steps up airstrikes; Jerusalem comes under rocket attack

Smoke rises over Gaza after Israel Air Force bombing Friday near Sderot, Israel. Israel mounted the attacks in response to a barrage of Hamas-launched rockets and has slowly expanded the attacks beyond military targets.
