Island life as close as Vashon | NW Neighborhood

Vashon Island resident Curtis Board picks the last remaining apples from one of the trees he planted more than 30 years ago. Board and his wife, Jennie, moved to the island from Seattle in the late 1940s. "I don't miss Seattle one bit," he said.
