On Dabob Bay, man and nature nurture preservation

Dabob Bay's primary freshwater source, Tarboo Creek, flows into the bay from the north, carving its own natural channel through the mud flats of the creek. The stream, thanks to the efforts of many local volunteers, has been restored as prime spawning habitat for coho and chum salmon.
