On Dabob Bay, man and nature nurture preservation

The quiet, clear waters of Dabob and Quilcene bays have their own thriving commerce -- shellfish production; six companies cultivate and produce oysters and other shellfish here. Oyster spat from Dabob helped restock many other hatcheries after a widespread oyster die-off in the past decade.
