Gethsemane church remodel includes affordable housing

Kaaren Black, with her cat Obie, sits inside her apartment Sunday — a part of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church remodel. Black, who is a member of the church council and choir, said she moved in last June. The church's remodel includes 50 units of mixed-income housing.
