Region hit by Sandy struggles to resume daily life

Superstorm Sandy left behind downed power lines and a battered road for people leaving the flooded island of Seaside Heights, N.J., on Tuesday. The storm caused dozens of deaths, halted mass transit and cut power to more than 6 million homes and businesses.
