Halloween dog party is a howl

Sue Subkow's golden retriever, Jill, in costume as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz during the 2010 San Diego Golden Retriever Meetup Group's Halloween Pooch Party. The first 45 minutes or hour of any golden retriever party involves playtime, Subkow said. That tires them out so they aren't too rambunctious during the on-leash parade, prize ceremony and lunch.
