Fond memories of Seattle's Palace Hip, ca. 1921

THEN: Photographed on April 30, 1921, the Palace Hip at the southeast corner of Spring Street and Second Avenue mostly prospered until it closed in the spring of 1929. The Seattle Times explained, "The heyday of vaudeville is over and with it into history fades one of its former strongholds."
