The world's No. 1 jumbo jet languishes, looking for a savior

The only creature comforts aboard No. 1 are in the lounge area -- adorned by late-'60s burnt-orange fabric, in-seat ashtrays and brilliant blue carpet -- upstairs in the "hump" behind the cockpit. Museum officials plan to keep the original motif, right down to the snappy mirrored-glass panels above the sofa seats.
