Downtown Seattle's sweet spot, ca. 1920

Perhaps as much as any tower, the Pig'N Whistle's moving sign beside Second Avenue was one of Seattle's more alluring landmarks in the 1920s. This view looks south toward Madison Street and, beyond it, the Smith Tower.
