Burning-monk photographer Malcolm Browne dies

A Buddhist monk sets himself on fire on June 11, 1963, in Saigon to protest the pro-Catholic Diem regime. Malcolm W. Browne, the former Associated Press correspondent who made the photo and was acclaimed for his trenchant reporting of the Vietnam War, has died. He was 81.
