Steven Hensel freshens English-style brick cottage in Madrona

The bedroom showcases dramatic changes possible simply with paint and textiles. Muralist Melissa Koch painted birds in flight to frame the bed. Fabrics complement the blue tile installed in the bathroom by previous owners.
