Putting fashion first, right here in Seattle

Erin Hilleary, a self-taught artist working with House of Fashion founder Marta Kappl to learn more about the business, paints a silk scarf with a scene inspired by Neolithic matriarchal civilizations' cave paintings. "It's like building the most beautiful 3D canvases," says Hilleary, who is also collaborating on some designs with Kappl.
