Aged, beloved Ivan the gorilla from Tacoma dies at Atlanta zoo

On his first day outside in 27 years, Ivan sniffs a magnolia blossom at his enclosure at Zoo Atlanta in 1995. Ivan was moved from Tacoma, after a three-year campaign by animal-rights activists and primate experts.
