Cherished remainders of Brooke Astor's luxe life up for auction

A 1983 portrait of the late philanthropist Brooke Astor by Aaron Shikler, which belonged to Astor. After years of litigation and a battle over Astor's $130 million estate, Sotheby's will auction 901 lots of her furnishings, decorative art, fine art and jewelry in September.
