Janet McNae's new Whidbey garden flourishes

"It's a house of doors and windows . . . . I've always liked East Coast style," says Janet McNae of the waterfront house she and her husband, Rod, built on Whidbey Island. Oakleaf hydrangeas outline the home, blooming in late summer and turning maroon and orange in autumn.
