Add edibles to your planting mix, for goodness sake!

Boxwood hedges enclose the profusion of flowers and food in Rosalind Creasy's front garden. Dahlias brighten the scene, scarlet runner beans climb the arbor, and big terra-cotta pots hold dwarf Negronne figs (Ficus carica), ringed in strawberries.
