A building where the walls talk

On the brick wall in Cady McClain and Jon Lindstrom's apartment at Rice Mill Lofts in New Orleans is a birdlike figure with the words "Ich Bin Ein Berliner" under it. They are not allowed to tamper with the graffiti.
