The sparks fly for Puget Sound innovators

Industrial designer Raquel Rabago works in front of her computer at Tovolo in Seattle, which specializes in unique, user-friendly kitchen tools. At center is a prototype of a food-preparation tray designed to improve safety by allowing the cook to flip it over, creating a new, clean surface for handling meat once it's grilled.
