The view on Seattle's Westlake Ave, ca. 1902

THEN: In January, of 1902, the probable year for this cityscape on Westlake Avenue, the Seattle City Council decided to connect this oldest part of Westlake between Lake Union and Denny Way with the central business district by extending it as far south as Fourth Avenue and Pike Street.
