Boy plucked from Wallace Falls: Rescuers 'should feel like heroes'

The image above is from raw video of Sunday morning's rescue effort. Rescuers carried a 24-foot aluminum fire ladder up the trail and laid it across the river where the boy was stranded. Lashed firmly at both ends, the ladder formed a stable platform for the rescuer to stand on as he was lowered into the water.
