Recession Generation hit hard in struggle to adulthood

Stephanie Melrose developed a passion for education while at Hazen, and feels fortunate to be teaching mathematics at Rainier Beach High School. After earning a bachelor's degree in math and a master's in teaching, Melrose is living at home with her parents so she can repay her college loans faster.
