20-somethings go home to regroup

Katherine Slack, 25, a 2005 graduate of Hazen High School in Renton, is one of many college graduates affected by the recession. After graduating from college, she moved back in with her parents, Debbie and Leonard Slack, to help reduce her living expenses while she works part-time and completes her paralegal certificate at the University of Washington.
