China's demand for geoducks sends prices, profits soaring in NW

Ben German loads about 1,500 pounds of geoducks into his truck to be boxed and sent to the airport on their way to Asia. In a restaurant in China, where 95 percent of the region's geoducks land, top-grade clams are selling for $100 to $150 or more per pound.
