Manufacturing propels state's job growth

J. R. Pentico, a powder-coat specialist at Terex Aerial Work Platforms (formerly Genie Industries) in Redmond, paints parts that will be put together to make a Genie boom. The company has been steadily hiring since fall as production ramped up.
