Facebook grows into new space

Facebook had an opening event at its new Seattle engineering office, in a tower above the Howell Street on-ramp to southbound Interstate 5. Dignitaries attended, including Sen. Maria Cantwell. After signing the Facebook Wall, Cantwell was photographed with Mike Schroepfer, Facebook's vice president of engineering, on a personal electronic tablet.
