Carrie Brownstein: the Northwest's funny girl

As Toni and Candace, owners of the radical feminist bookstore Women and Women First, Brownstein and Armisen play outrageous parodies of political correctness. Their new intern, played by Amber Tamblyn, is a little puzzled by their policies, which turn away more customers than they attract. When a woman writes bright, loving thoughts in the store's "journaling" workshop, they scold her. "What a journal should be is a document of misery," says Toni.
