State trooper slain; ex-con had threatened police

"Tony was the epitome of a state trooper," said Kitsap County Sheriff Steve Boyer, who previously served as a trooper with Tony Radulescu. Boyer said Radulescu was unfailingly positive and saw police work as a calling.
