Seattle filmmaker finds herself in her Tanzanian family

Eli Kimaro poses on the slopes of Africa's tallest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, where her father's Chagga people live. For the past eight years, her life's work has been to explore the complexities and difficulties of the lives of people who inhabit the area, particularly the women and girls.
