The property owner of Pike Station is an artist who seeks to create a community of artists, environmental activists and architects. In Madrona's commercial core, Pike Station provides live/work units with retail space. The pigs provide for harvesting methane. The jury felt that was improbably but loved the enthusiasm of the conceptual entry.
