WSU bucks trend, loads up on freshmen

Freshman Hayley Smalls, of Tacoma, moves into a double room at Washington State University. She picked WSU partly because it's her parents' alma mater. She's already good to go with Cougar logo-ed products. Smalls is thinking about communications as a major.
