She was there: Lilly Kitamoto Kodama, a docent at the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum, was interned at Manzanar during World War II, though she was not photographed by Ansel Adams. Kodama commented: "I'm happy that the exhibit reminds people of what happened, because I think the story hasn't been told enough in the past."
