Climate of fear grips Forks illegal immigrants

Benjamin Roldan Salinas, an illegal immigrant, died in mid-May after jumping into the Sol Duc River in a bid to escape arrest by the Border Patrol. His funeral service was moved to Olympia to avoid the scrutiny of agents.
