Minutes into flight, Airbus returns to La. airport

The front landing gear of a United Airlines airplane is seen sunk in a grass field after making an emergency landing shortly after takeoff at Louis Armstrong International Airport in Kenner, La., Monday. The flight from New Orleans to San Francisco returned to the New Orleans airport within minutes of taking off Monday after rocking back and forth.
