Push to keep P-I globe spinning

Three members of the Seattle City Council, all former journalists, have nominated the P-I globe for landmark status. They say that seattlepi.com's lease at the building on Elliott Bay is expiring and that its owner, the Hearst Corp., hasn't disclosed its plans.
