Seattle's Yesler Terrace faces the future

Kimli Sieng, who has lived in Yesler Terrace for 16 years, stops to take in the view of the city during one of her frequent exercise walks around the project. "When I open my curtains, I see all the view," says Sieng, who is from Cambodia. In addition to the sweeping views of the city, residents at the 70-year-old housing project are conveniently close to downtown, the Chinatown-International District and public transportation.
