Seattle's parks in peril: the choices are to shrink, skimp or pay up

Only five cities in the country have more parks per capita than Seattle, which counts seven parks for every 10,000 residents. They are St. Petersburg, Fla., Anchorage, Alaska, Madison, Wis., Cincinnati and Buffalo, N.Y.
