Weight of War: Gear that protects troops also injures them

Marines from the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, 1st Battalion 5th Marines catch a nap while at Camp Leatherneck in Helmand Province. They'll soon board helicopters for a night air assault, and they will wear body armor, weapons, packs, communications gear and other equipment.
