Downtown park, statue honor man who stood up to a mob

McGraw Square Plaza, dedicated Wednesday, honors John McGraw, who defended Chinese laborers from vigilantes in 1886. He was elected governor for one term in 1892. Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn was at the dedication.
